Fire Tower 5K - May 8, 2027

From Running Rock's Hellbender Cascades to our very own Fire Tower, you will be able to hustle these hills for a great jog in the forest. And best of all, your donation goes to a very worthy cause, the Friends of the Smokies. 

Running Rock Biodiversity - BioBlitz

Join us May 8, 2026 for an excellent experience. From the temperate rainforest to the high mountain ridges there are thousands of plants, animals and insects to identify. Via iNaturalist's cataloging app we'll work as a team or stray off by ourselves to begin the process of seeing what lives in the woods and along the streams here in the Smokies. Love to see you there.
